FS: [TX] '74 Restomod - 450HP 383/4-speed - Show Quality PRICE DROPPED TO $24.5K
Show quality Corvette, 450HP 383 Small Block with 4-speed.
Restoration chronicled here on Corvette Forum some years ago.
Best in Class at Super Chevy, Corvette Chevy Show, and AutoRama. Gorgeous paint in the original Silver Mist color, black Deluxe Interior w/Al Knoch seat foam, leather seats, and door panels, and ACC carpet. Westside Performance built 383, AFR 195 aluminum heads, Comp roller cam, forged crank, rods, and pistons, Edelbrock RPM intake, Speed Demon carb, MSD distributor, 6AL box, and plug wires. Electric fan from '96 Corvette with new radiator. Centerforce Dual Friction clutch with scattershield, 4-speed Super T-10 with heavy duty shift forks, Hurst Competition Plus shifter, 3.38 Posi rear end, all new u-joints. Hooker Super Competition headers with chambered exhaust system. Completely rebuilt suspension and brakes, with all new ball joints, tie rods, bushings and bearings, including rear trailing arms. Vette Brakes 600# springs in the front and 330# fiberglass monoleaf in the rear. Upgraded sway bar, Bilstein shocks, braided stainless brake lines, and stainless steel sleeved calipers. Vintage Wheel Works Vintage 45 wheels (16X8) with new front tires and drag radials on the rear. All emblems, turn signals, side markers etc are new and in perfect condition. Optima Red Top battery. New gas tank, high torque mini-starter, too many new parts to list. Rare front center grill is a '74 only part. Tank sticker shows that this is a very low option radio delete car with no power options, making it lighter than most C3 Corvettes. I have owned it since 1997 and the previous owner had it since 1976, I will include documentation. The car is not only fast but also very reliable and fun to drive, and of course turns heads everywhere it goes. I am selling it to make room for my next projects. Tens of thousands spent on this restoration/modification. You will not be disappointed.
