Default F/S - 1981 vette - black/black - must see

For Sale - 1981 Corvette - 87K Miles

This is a 1981 Corvette - A 1 year only corvette that operates with a computer, 1st of its kind, the CCC system. This vette is 100% functional with the computer. The Q-jet has been freshly rebuilt and runs amazing. Listed below are all of the outstanding features and upgrades of this black on black vette. Also you will see this vette has a custom ground effects kit molded into the body and then was painted, looks as if it came from the factory this way. Also with this vette is a set of brand new mirror T-Tops in flawless condition. Also included with the sale are 3 important items, the original code scanner, the original 81 shop manual the GM techs used, and the assembly manual.

$12,500.00 OBO.

List of features and upgrades:

New interior as follows:
- new dash
- new custom C5 corvette seats and custom leather
- new center dash console
- new pioneer head unit w/ Bluetooth
- new Mirror T-Tops

New suspension upgrades as follows:
- new springs
- new shocks
- new rubber busings
- new tie rod ends
- new ideler arm
- new power steering cylinder w/ new hoses

Motor upgrades as follows (Motor is putting out a little over 350 HP):
- new GM performance heads w/ new rockers, springs, and valves
- new Comp Cams eXtreme Cam
- new Comp Cams lifters and push-rods
- new true dual exhaust w./ ceramic coated headers (patriot headers)
- new Magnaflow mufflers (** car sounds amazing with the big cam backed with these !)
- new MSD HEI Distributor cap and rotor
- new MSD 8 mm plug wires
- new MSD Coil pack and ignition module
- new vacuum lines for headlights
- new LED Halo headlights

This car is a must see - take a ride and you will be hooked.

The car does have A/C but the A/C compressor is not hooked up, I have it stored in a box (** removed it to replace the suspension components). There are a few spots on the car where the paint is not perfect.

Nice looking vette. Do you have any engine bay pics? With the increase in horsepower did you modify the trans? What type of transmission is it? What is the gearing on the rear differential? Was the AC working prior to the disconnect? Is the heater working? I know you all in Florida do not have to worry about that. GLWTS

Trans is the Th 350, the diff is the original 2.87:1, AC was working, heater works (have shut off valve inline).

When I get home from work I'll upload some engine bay pics
