Restomod '72 coupe
I am putting my 1972 Coupe up for sale which is far from original. It has FIA headlight covers, ZZ4 350, performance built 200R4 automatic trans., 80-82 style seats, aluminum radiator, Borgeson steering system, composite rear spring, Vette brakes 550lb. front lowering coils, Bilstein shocks, Pioneer stereo system. It has a fairly recent 2 stage paint job in original Warbonnet Yellow with Black stripes which I would rate at 8 on a scale of 1 through 10. The upper & lower control arm bushings have been replaced with new urethane ones as well as sway bar bushings & end links. Tach. is converted to electronic and all gauges work except the clock. The odometer doesn't move so miles are unknown. It has an aluminum water pump and new Griffen aluminum radiator with electric cooling fans. The interior is Black but was Tan from the factory. Carpet, seat covers and weather striping are new and I am ordering new door panels. The frame is solid and the bird cage is in decent shape with minor pitting and flaking. The bumpers have been removed for a vintage road racer look but I still have them and the buyer would get them as well as wheel rings & caps plus many extra parts. Asking $14,000 obo.

My favorit corvette color. The exhaust really looks low to the ground. I live in area where the city officials went crazy with speed bumps in residential areas. Would this be a problem with the exhaust? What are the 3 holes on the hood and nose of the car? Hopefully not bullet holes. GLWTS

It has two little cracks which I put bullet hole stickers on top of. The exhaust is pretty low and pretty loud. When the previous owner installed the 200R4 they had a custom transmission mount made from C-channel so there are no openings for the exhaust pipes to go through. I thought about sectioning the tranny mount and welding in some tubes for exhaust to pass through but never did. What's strange is I know the factory TH400 mount will work with a little modification. I also considered side pipes but never got that done. I just bought a modified '08 Z51 coupe and can't justify keeping both Corvettes.

Melting Slicks
Holy crap, this is a deal in my opinion. Sadly, I'm currently looking for an '80-'82 (either a cheaper original car or a nicely restomodded one) but goddam, I had to do a double take when I saw the title with the word "restomod" in it. This is one helluva machine! A big GLWS to you, sir!

Burning Brakes
still for sale??
Jabrun is the car still for sale? If so couple of questions. Does it have wipers? Rear sits high? Are the rear tires outside the body lines? Rear wheel and tire size? A picture of the driver side so I can see door fit. In video it looks off but maybe door wasn't closed tight. Passinger side looks good. Is there any form of muffler on the car?
