I bought this car seven years ago in pieces, it was taken off the road and disassembled in 1989 by the guy from which I bought it. The car was almost completely taken apart and is very rough. I don't think its been crashed but there is rust throughout the birdcage and some cracks and gouges in the fiberglass. I think the actual frame is good, maybe needing some minor repair. I can put pictures out here or send pics if interested. The car is completely numbers matching engine, carb, trans, etc. I can't say every little piece is accounted for but I would say at least 90% is here. Originally Cortez silver, black interior, black soft and black vinyl covered hard top. I really think the car is to far gone and not worth restoring but I thought I would offer the car as a whole otherwise I will sell it off in parts. $3,800 If interested call/text me. 217-855-7672. Hate to see you part out a numbers matching 68, but maybe the best economical route forward.
