1979 Corvette White/blue, 61K miles. LT1/4L60E Drivetrain
1979 Corvette White/blue, 61K miles with a 1994 LT1/4L60E Drivetrain. Nicely installed using a Speedway Motors wiring harness. Super chassis and undercarriage with zero rust. Breakdown of all the work performed:
• A full aluminum 1982 rear end was installed as part of the swap, which has 3:08 gears.
• Rides on 17" Rallye style rims.
• The entire brake system is new: Master Cylinder /Metal Brake Lines/Calipers/Rotors/ Brake Hoses.
• Hi Torque Starter
• Body Mounts
• Front end fully rebuilt with a new oversize front sway bar
• Battery replaced
• New dual exhaust system
• New steering wheel, front carpets/console sides/kick panels
Mechanically this car is unbelievable. This is how these cars should drive: Fast, powerful, tight and reliable. Very decent body with no apparent accident history, although it has been repainted once in its life- which is chalky and dull. Also the headlamps do not go up: there are new actuators are in place but the air control valves are missing.
Much time and money spent to build this: cannot be duplicated for the price. Asking $7900. No trades, please. PM me with your contact info (phone number preferred) and will be in contact with you. Located in Northern New Jersey. Thanks!
