Hi,

I'm doing a classic car rally next year (Trans Am) and looking to buy a Corvette to do it in. My ideal car is a 1973 ttop, L82 or 454, with air, 4speed, leather, preferably not red, green or white. And ideally from Colorado or nearby. Number matching would be good, but not essential if the price reflects this.

Everthing must be in good condition - enough to drive from (at least) Denver to Halifax then San Francisco and back to Denver. I don't have the time to work much on the car because I won't be in the country a lot: I'm Australian. I'll be in Colorado Jan through March and can look at a car then but I will come over earlier if I hear about a good car that fits.

I'm not looking for a trailer queen or recent top flight, but I want it to look pretty decent.

Thanks for that - it does look pretty decent - but I want at least a L82. Plus I'd rather it had air rather than me having to fit it!

Hi all,

I'm still looking... 4 speed, l82 or 454 preferably with air and leather. I really don't like green or orange, but pretty much any other color. Not a fan of red interiors. Solid frame and reliable power train and suspension. A good driver. I like a good degree of originality.


I'll be back in Colorado early Jan but happy to go anywhere for the right car.
