Default 1970 Corvette Convertible Red, four speed

1970 Corvette Convertible, Two top , Four Speed
Vin: 194670S410416
Build Date: May 27, 1970
Paint: 974 Monza Red
Trim: 400 Black Vinyl
Engine pad: V0518CTD
This is an extremely nice, two top 70 Corvette Roadster. It is equipped with M20 four speed, Power Steering and AM/FM Radio. All components are original to the car with the exception of the carb and starter. This car still retains the original Goodyear Speedway Wide Tread Spare! Also has the original exhaust tips. The car presently has around 89000 miles on it, but fewer that 5000 miles have been put on the car in the last 15 years.
You could call this a frame on restoration. The engine has a new cam/lifters and minor head work done in 1998. The body was stripped and painted in 2000. No prior damage found. The paint and trim are show quality to this day. The interior was refreshed in 2003 using Al Knock materials. This Corvette sits and feels correct in every manner. All the fiber optics work.
Has a white soft top and a black vinyl hard top. The soft top is showing some slight wear.
I have most owner history, receipts for work done and restoration photos which will pass to the new buyer. I also have two appraisals which were done in 2002 for 24000 and 25000.
I hope if you find this car one that you may be looking for that you give it serious thought. This is not a average C3. It is a very nice, if not too nice C3 which looks and drives as a 1 year old car. Great attention to detail throughout.
The price is being reduced for a short time to allow me to facilitate a C7 purchase. Dont delay! . The car is located in Charleston South Carolina. I have the South Carolina Tile in my name. $29500 firm.

What a gorgeous 70 vert. Best of luck with the sale. I am visiting family in Ottawa today; it's minus 22 F; when I see a beauty like this, it makes the temperature feel warmer. Hopefully, summer gets here real soon.

I owned this car from 2002 - 2005 and did some of the restoration work. Much more was done than stated in the sellers add. If prospective buyers would like more details send me a PM and I will answer any questions that I can.

Ok guys, I have had this car for sale for a couple months and still it hasn't sold. In fact although I have now taken two deposits to purchase, not ONE person has looked at this car in person!
I have sold a few of my cars sight unseen, but honestly have not ever had two buyers send deposits then have 'issues' where they cant complete the sale. I have refunded the latest buyer's (Holland) deposit, but quite frankly have lost any temperament in spending endless hours on the phone/email to try to facilitate a good sale for me and the buyer.

Sorry for the rant, this Corvette will stay mine for the near future.
