F/S 1971 C3 Street/Strip
Hello All,
I am selling my 1971 Corvette Coupe. It's a lot of fun to drive, get's a lot of attention and, what can I say? I love the C3 and this is quite a radical build; "bad-***" if you will. A lot of stuff happening personally so it's now on the market. Since I got it in 2013, it has been stored in a climate-controlled facility; I am selling it through consignement at the garage I keep it, Deluxe Car Storage in New Hyde Park, LI, NY. I had only driven it on weekends--not a daily driver but if someone wanted to make it milder, it could be a daily driver. If anyone is interested in seeing the car, they are welcome to go to Deluxe Car Storage directly. They are a fully staffed facility.

There's a ton of upgrades, mechanically and interior, to the car not listed here. The engine was dynoed at rebuild 1.5 years ago. It's an LS5-454 stroked up to a 496 cid. The compression ration is 10.2; runs great on high octane pump gas. Peak HP is 655@6700 rpm and peak torque is 625@4100 rpm. It's a solid roller lifter cam, .700" lift, with a single plane intake, rectangular port aluminum heads aith a 950 cfm Quick Fuel carb. When I bought it, the advertised rear gear ratio was 5:13 but I think it's probably closer to 4:11. It has power steering, power brakes and handles beautifully. The tranny is a rock solid TH400, reverse manual valve body with a Hurst Quarter Stick. It can be shifted manually at the desired rpm range or it can be left in "3" and be driven fully automatic.
Thanks for looking.
