1974 Project in South AL
1974 L48
I bought this car back in about 1997.
Removed the body and started an ambitious resto project, that ran longer than I could manage. It has sat idle since I bought it. I have it back together and have literally replaced or rebuilt nearly everything on it - save for the interior. None of the parts have seen the road… I have $12,000 in parts receipts.
GM ZZ4 Engine (no miles)
Barry Grant Carb (no miles)
TH400 Trans (rebuilt)
Steeroids Steering
Transverse front leaf
Fiberglass rear leaf
I have the original front A arms, hood, spare tire carrier, an unused, new stock front steering steering system. I have four rally wheels; one is new, three are original. I have three sets of bezels and three center caps.
I bought a set of stainless side pipes from Ecklers, planned on mounting them up, never did.
If anyone wants all of this, I also have an entire extra 1974 frame that can go too….
I could part all of it out and probably make more money than just selling it, but I do not want to do that to the car, deserves a new home!
How bout $7.5K for all of it?
I will get more detail for anyone that is interested.
