IMPEDANCE

We used to live in the Washington DC area, and in the mid 1980s my wife owned a beautiful 1981 Autumn Red / Dark Claret Corvette with red fabric interior. Was a loaded car.

The tag was Maryland HPK 326 (in 1985). VIN has been lost to time and sloppy filing.

We both now own Corvettes, but I am looking to buy another similar 1981 Corvette to surprise her with on her birthday in April.

Your car insurance company from back then may know the VIN.

Attachment 47865063Thanks, but already tried that route. State Farm's archives appear to go back only to the late 1980s. My original agent from the time has retired, of course, and his old paper files went to the big dumpster in the sky.
