25th Anniversary Racing Jacket (seller won't ship after receiving payment)
I was given a 25th Anniversary Corvette Racing Jacket when I was in HighSchool by a family friend. It is silver on the top and black on the bottom. The Jacket has been worn and the Silver is starting to wear in small places on the bottom of the arms. It has the 25th anniversary patch on front and says Corvette down the left arm in red and black. I would say that overall it's in good condition. I was just wondering if anyone had an idea what this jacket would be worth. I was told that the guy got it from a his friend who's dad was on the Corvette racing team. Just curious. Thanks!

Yes I did make the check out to cory *** but Shalon said she would mail it to me over 1 month ago as he spent the money which she told me she would send it to me, I even offered to pay her for the shipping.

Dave I was away for 2 days, I just went down to my neighbors and he said he got it Friday morning. As soon as possible I will make sure he sends the jacket to you. I hope you are having a nice weekend so far. Take care,

I was going to make this right, now you can take it up with Cory ***, I'm no longer going to mail it out! You sent the Cashiers Check to HIS address in HIS name! The jacket is back in his possession not mine. Be warned people, never offer someone the use of your email.

Either the seller was selling something which is not theirs (I do not think this is permissible on Corvette Forum), or, the seller does not have a secure account. Either way, perhaps the buyer can bring this to the attention of a moderator for clarification.

The jacket does belong to Cory ***, if you were referring to my reply as being suspicious, perhaps you should understand the whole situation before sticking your nose in to a situation you know nothing about! I hope Dave does report it to the mod of this group!!

I should do that. Sherry Advertised The jacket and I contacted her and she wanted a money order I told her that sounded like a scam and she gave me a lot of reasons they had to have a money order, I said why can't I send a check and they can wait until it clears before sending the jacket she agreed and I did that. The $5.00 was for shipping.
About two weeks later she emailed and said the check cleared and Corey would mail it. I waited about two weeks and called her thinking it might have been lost in the mail she told me Corey spent the money and didn't have any to mail it.
She told me she would get it and now had it in her possession and would mail it in a few days I never received it and I waited and waited when I complained she just wrote me and told me after the post I made here she would never send it to me.
I'll place shalon53 in moderation to prevent her from attempting to sell anything else on the site.
Meanwhile, if you believe you have been defrauded, I'd recommend filing a criminal complaint with an appropriate law enforcement agency.
I'm going to move the thread to the Transactions Feedback section so it will be available to others who may be searching for information on sellers.
She finally send it to me I got it today she asked if I would delete her phone number from the posts I told her I would but can't could you do this for me?
