Franklin Mint Plates
I found these online and bought the 5 that were availible.
They are the limited Edition Franklin Mint plates with 24kt gold around the outside of the plates. I need to get a shelf put up to display them near my corvette, framed, posters.
I have the 78, 63, 86, 57, 56. I know I am missing at least 3 that they made I need to locate to complete the collection.

Suggest you go into Ebay and set up a search. Say, something like "Franklin Mint Corvette plate" and then save that search (you'll see a prompt or a "link" allowing you to do this. If you use the advanced search feature, you can also look at completed listings and a lot of other criteria than will allow you to refine your search.
you might try gomotorbids.com as well, but I'm not sure this is something they might have. Doesn't hurt to try though.
I think the Ebay search (save for 6 months or so) is the best way to go. Be sure to mention "Corvette" or your going to get dozens of listings on everything from John Wayne plates to fantasy figures, like the "Dragons of Discordia".
Of course your thread should draw out a lot of collectors as well.

Are you sure there are three missing? The only one I see you don't have is the 53. If you are correct than I need to find the other two. I know a different company made a 96 Grand Sport. I had one but sold it years ago to a GS owner.

There's a 53 FM plate on e-bay for around $10.
