Boy I wish someone would produce this in a '63 split window, I'd buy it in a heartbeat.

Bet they would sell a ton, too.

MPC did a 63 split window kit, in the early 80's. It was in 1/16th scale, so it obviously wasn't as large as the old Monogram 1/8th 65, but the detailing was also much better, because it was a newer kit.

The MPC kit has been reissued a few times, and they do show up on ebay, etc.

If I get a chance this weekend, I'll post a picture of the MPC kit, as I have a couple put away.
