Default Maisto 1/18 C7 Z51 question

I wanted to get an exact replica of my car but I do not see any 2015 shark gray colors. Would you guys suggesting waiting a little longer and they should ome out with it or buy a different color and paint it myself? This is all new to me

I have never done anything like this before. How do you do it?? I know this sounds stupid but I don't know if you take the old paint off or just paint over it and so on. I would like to give it a shot.

I sanded it with 400, primed, painted, cleared, sanded with 2000, than rubbed it out.

I just bought a silver C6 coupe that i have taken all apart and will paint Cyber Gray. It'll be my first time too, and a fun winter project. Give it a try. I also make my own decals to match my license plate, etc.

I bought the 12 oz. aerosol and clearcoat from this company. They'll match any color. Good luck.
Your color might be too new, though.

Try Dupli-Color too.

I've got the same problem. Same car as yours, but the Z51 Maisto (1:18) is only available in blue or white. Going to go with white but probably won't paint. I've got all 7 generations in 1:18 in varying colors so I guess it doesn't have to match my specific car.
