Danbury Mint 50 Years- First Piece
I just received my first piece of the DM 50 years of corvette series. Disappointed! That's all I have to say. I was expecting a DM quality car. I didn't get one. Maybe I was expecting too much? Here are some pics.

I wasn't expecting great quality from a porcelain creation to begin with. I could tell by the pics they didn't look all that good. Now you have confirmed it for me.

Thanks for letting us know. I just received the info on these the other day and hadn't made up my mind yet. I guess I'll pass.
According to what I read you have (I believe) 30 days to return them for replacement or a refund. If you are real unhappy I'd get my money back and cancel the rest.

I haven't seen a 1/43rd scale yet that gets the proportions right really. The Midyears look especially bad. :(

Now watch, everyone passes on this set, and a few years down the road it becomes a hot set to have since so few were sold. I really like the idea of one of each year, too bad the quailty sucks.
I wish I could buy the 96 GS also.
