Default 1967 Drag Vette

I'm going to FL to see and pay for a 1967 Roadster Corvette vintage drag vette this Fri. I'll get some pictures of it and try to post them. It has run 9.80's . The interior is still all original even with the orig door panels on it.
Pretty kool!

That ought to be cool. Looking forward to seeing it. Old Race cars ,ale great toys. They spend their whole life indoors and pretty well taken care of usually.

I have seen this car three years ago and kept on it, with the owner.
He finally is will to part with it. No bumpers in front, full cage, totally stock interior, huge rear tires, tom rear end in rear, hand painted lettering.
It's a red roadster with a factory hard top, white interior with a drag racing seat. That's all I remember.

If it's anything like 427Hotrod's car above it will be badass, I really dig his ride.

Nothing like a sweet vette with the front end three feet off the ground

Pretty kool!
Just came back from FL sorry no pics my battery on the camera died!
But the car ia a NHRA ceritfied 1967 corvette. It ran drag strips back in the early 70's and it probably ran all the way to the mid 90's. It has a old NHRA metal tag (pretty vintage), orig painted on lettering from sponsers from Hollywood FL. Whats kool about this car is it was sponsered by local buisness's in Hollywood FL and thats where the car was last stored away for some years till I bought it just now. It's like a vintage drag car storage find! I plan on bringing the car up later this month I'll keep the forum posted.

I dont know. Didn't plan on a drag car but I'll probably run it a couple of times them just enjoy looking at it. Right now I'm trying to find the history on it. It say ginos autobody Hollywood FL on the side quarter panels(in original hand lettered paint) So I'm trying to find info or picts of the car running at the old miami hollywood FL drag strip (now its closed down) its pretty neat that this car is was still in hoolywood FL for many years! I'm the first owner to take it out of its home area. it has a NHRA or IHRA metal tag with it numbers on it but don't know how to find previous registrars to that number.

Take a look at the old Ko-Motion Vette. Absolutely one of the best Vette's ever!

http://www.komotioncorvette.com/

Maybe keep it as an old racer?

Looking forward to the pics.

It doesn't get much better than a 67 Vette Drag Racer, with original vintage drag race history behind it.

That KO-MOTION vette is the bad of the bad vintage vette drag racers!

The car is very very similar to the ko-motion car (roadster hard top red,1967, lettering),but it has a old 6 pt cage and big 29.5 tires on back. I'm planning to go down to Hollywood FL bwt x-mas and 1/01/08 to bring it up now that it's paid for. Can't wait for spring I'm going to run the car a couple of times down the strip. Runs 9.40s never been that fast!
