Chris Gould- Fire Power
On November 25, 2007 our Motorsports Community endured a terrible tragedy when Chris Gould, driving the Jet Funny Car Fire Power, was killed in an accident during an Exhibition Pass. We have lost a member of our family and that will stay with us forever. The Gould family, crew, friends and fans remain in our hearts and prayers. We extend our condolences as we get through this difficult time together. Just this past Friday Chris said he was lucky to do what he loved and wouldn't have it any other way.
We will have a memorial for Chris on December 8, 2007 during the National Dragster Challenge. Thank you to everyone who has expressed their concern and compassion.

Hi, I'm Corinne, Chris' neice and I just wanted to say on behalf of my mother (his sister) and my self:
Thank you for all your sympathies and kindness. He's with his parents now and in a better place (as cliche as that is). It's comforting to know that he died doing the very thing that made him the happiest.

You are correct in knowing he passed doing something he loved 
Racers are funny that way, just love the sport unconditionally.

This picture was taken just moments before his last run.
Chris took the time to pose with my son that day.
He also spent some time talking about the car with us.
He told us that he quit racing motorcycles due to the danger.
