Bill "Grumpy" Jenkins .. Passed Away
Just got word that long time Chevrolet drag racing legend died this morning... Bill has been my racing idol since the mid 1960's..... RIP Bill...

Yeah I saw it on Atco's Facebook page earlier today, sad news for sure.

He was "the guy" for me when I was a kid reading hot rod mags way before I could drive/own a car. I cloned his 68 Camaro about 15 yrs ago after talking to Bill several times on the phone about it. I got to meet and talk to him a while at Pomona around that time. He was one sharp SOB. RIP. I'll assume the next thunder I hear is you running something on a dyno up there

Melting Slicks
Saw "Da Grump" race many times at E'town in the 1970's. He will missed throughout the drag racing community. RIP Bill "Grumpy" Jenkins.
