Just wondering if any here are planning on going to the LS Fest in Bowling Green next month. I know Pete Huff and Pittman are going and I'll be there running in True Street. If anyone is on the fence about attending, don't even think twice about it, it's a great time!

I will be there. After a bad start to this season in the LSX, I hired a new crew chief. He will be coming in from Tennessee. I will have my helmet radio set up for communication's with him.
I will be arriving late Wednesday. Need to set up the pool early Thursday, then go to tech.

Tennessee Crew Chief
Rob
Is your crew chief from Tennessee the Pastor that will be preaching on Sunday as he did several years ago in Indy? You bring the podium, Jr and I will bring the oil change pan for the collection!

Well we have run the Bracket at the 1st two events this year. The payout was better, it was eight mile and the schedule of events was easier. We became aware of the new rule in Rumble this year, no trans brakes upon arriving. Rule changes after years of doing it one way don't seem to make sense. The "King of the Hill" the past 2 years, Mr Farley has foot brake mastered as he worked through the field of trans brakes. But that's that.
Jr, after not foot braking for about 5 years woke up that foot and id well. We were worried as we come of the trans brake at 3000 and can only go to about 1800 before pushing through the lights but the car also adjusted nicely.
We picked the 10.00 Index. We ran 9.77, 9.87, and 9.91 dropping the shift points from 7000 to 6800 to 6500 and finally to 6100 and ran a 10.02 on the last pass Saturday.
On the way back to the pits Paul Jr noticed a ticking noise while coasting. Looks like we dropped a tooth or two off of the ring gear. That diff has been punished for 3 years and this is actually the 1st failure in the drive line we have ever had. It is all RPM Transmission from the flex plate back. A visit to their camp assured me a quick turn around to be ready for Indy in 4 weeks. Car is being disassembled and everything from the flex plate back is going to RPM for evaluation and getting ready for Indy. Thanks RPM, you have always been there for us. See y'all at Indy. It could have been a lot worse. Our next run could have been a disaster.

I saw a lot of cars launching hard wheels up in rumble.

2-steps are allowed. T brakes are not.
I had a blast. Lots to see and do.
Unfortunately, I got complacent in round 4 and took too much stripe. I broke out by .003. Ugh... The upside is I believe I've regained the points lead in LSX rumble.
Also, I broke the flex plate on my car, so I'll be replacing that prior to Indy.
See y'all there.

Thanks Marc.
Also, It was great to see Danny, Rob, and Paul Sr & Jr again. See you next month!
Points have been updated. I am back in the lead, but not by much...
