Default MIR WCF All Motor Class New Rules Coming Out

Just got off the phone with Jason Miller. Since GM is not represented in this class, we thoroughly discussed how we can get cars involved. The new rules are to be out soon. (I'll keep everyone posted.) In a nut shell, we are getting a break with weight reduction. This is huge for all of us wishing to compete. The LS1 & LS6 cam only crowd will get the biggest break. The bolt-on only LS7 guys and gals will be 150 lbs. heavier. LS2 and LS3 cars will fall somewhere in between. Please let us know if you have any interest in running to put on a good show for the crowd and represent.
Who knows, maybe we will get to eat some rice.

As Gary said, this is huge for us LS guys.

Last year there were no LS powered cars in the all motor class. Gary and I both sent Jason an email with some suggestions. Jason told me he got more rules suggestions for the LS/all motor class than all the other classes combined. So, clearly the racers are there. Just none of felt we could compete with the rules the way they were.

Now, things have changed.

Rules will be posted Sept. 1st. Not likely until later in the day though.

This is a great event. Some class changes and rule changes will make this a smoother event than in years past.

Please consider going to this race to represent the LS race community.

Seems pretty simple to me. Pick your combo. Pick your weight. Go race.

Jason is giving us a nice weight break. It's time for us to show up and support this class. Even if we're not successful, it shows our dedication so maybe next year we can be competitive.

Some people race... Some people just sit home and bitch...

Who's going to this? last time I raced in the World Cup, I raced in the 11.50 Index

I am glad to see Jason making adjustments. I tried supporting this class for years and just qualifying was my goal and I did a couple times. Took a while for Jason to open these up but sadly, it may be too late as the class has gotten way too quick now.

If some of you can make it, it is a pretty big and exciting event.

last year I ran true street, and the guys at tech had no idea what the rules were. I had to tell them what my weight needed to be. They looked at NOTHING. I had to add weight to my car to run because I was honest. The year before, all they checked was my battery hold down . No helmet, no jacket, no bar, they didnt even look! Now, this year I need a diaper for true street.(which is a good thing) Ill be going, just not running true street, Ill do either 10.00 or 10.50.

Last year was a mess because of all the oil downs and weather. In retrospect, MIR did a great job with the conditions, however, when you're there, it doesn't seem like it!

Don't want to rain on anybody's parade, but, the rules heavily favor the imports. Its as if there are no restrictions for them. Good luck to all of those attending. Fry some rice
