No need to, Pete...I have already qualified for the IHRA divisionals which is my goal at Lakeland...I really don't care to race that track because I have to go right through downtown Orlando to and from there...always bumper to bumper...it is the closest IHRA track so I do the minimum to go to S.C....

I won't ask Chief Dan to do his anti rain dance, Rick, because we all know what an azzhat he is....lol...

Meanwhile, back at the ranch, we are pulling the motor and hope to send the crank out for polishing tomorrow...the new bearings are already ordered...hope to be ready for testing the end of next week...sigh...I sorta recall winning some money recently but it seems to be just a fading memory at this point.....lol....

My magic is not strong enough, Rickster...got the motor back together last night with new main bearings and a polished crank...put it back in the car and fired her up...crap!...20 lbs. of oil pressure at idle...goes up with the rpm's but this motor always had 70 lbs. plus at idle...always...

Went to the store and got 20/50 Valvoline and a bottle of Lucas...put it in and started her up again...same 20 lbs...damn...may be the oil pump at this point...taking the weekend off or a break...hopefully can find the issue and make the divisionals on the 16th....sigh....

I hope it's just the oil pump after all that work. It's not looking good today the weather report afternoon rainstorm. I think everybody's going to get rained out today at all the tracks.

That really is too bad I know how much you wanted to go up there. There is always next year. Maybe IHRA will pick that track closer to home.....
