Default 15'' wheel fitment help

I have LG spindles for my C5 and of course want to put 15's on. All I see anybody use are Weld wheels it seems. Personally, I'd like to run a set of Champion wheels with single beadlock. What is needed for them to fit? I've read a few threads on YB, but most questions and info are related to double beadlock wheels addressing the inner clearance issues.
Is the inner barrel diameter an issue regardless of a beadlock present? What options do I have?

Thanks for any help fellas.

Call champion wheel's up tell them what car you have, Plus tell them you are looking to do the outer bead lock only. They will put it right on for you on the off set. The bead lock cost should be about 250.00 per wheel. Robert

Copy that! Seemed to me there were more clearance issues with their drum diameters etc that led to fitment problems. I know on their website u can for the most part mix and match any size, BS, etc. Wonder why theyre not more common if they bolt right up? Do you have personal experience with them Robert?

Couple years ago I installed some Alumastars & ran into problems with the inner barrel hitting the caliber.

Had to grind alot off the caliber, ended up having to use a 3/8" spacer also.

Two problems as I recall, the inner barrel diameter was small & it curved into the center section (not square)

I recommend measuring the outside radius of your caliber & distance away from mounting point. (in or out)

Most wheels offer different shape spokes & barrels to clear calibers

Billet Specialties has more inner rim clearance then the Welds, they were popular with the 4th gen F body guys because of that.

FWIW.....LG/Strange combo will clear.....

Weld Prostars 15x10 w/6.5" bs
Bogart D10 15x10.2 w/7.5"bs
Weld V-series 15x10 w/8" bs

Note....Not all of these bs are oem quarter friendly (L5's). But giving you a barrel reference.

Also beware.....depending on ride height and bs, most setups will require some minor clearacing of the lower control arm (where the inside lip of the wheel sits).

I was going to go with Champion wheels but instead went with Billet Spec. stree lites with a champion beadlock (pic in sig). The champion wheels will work with rear drag brake setup. I spoke to them a few times and took measurements for them as well. I just didn't feel like cutting up my $1k+ spindles to mount the drag brakes on the rear.

Thanks for all the info guys. So the Strange rear brake setup is not just a "bolt on" affair? Modifications to the spindles are needed?

You need to cut the caliber bracket off the stock or LG spindle & Strange provides a new bolt-on caliber bracket.

At that point the stock or LG spindle can't be reused for stock calibers.

Ill be damned. Wow. Not sure if Im a fan of that since the car is not a designated track car. I think that rules out the Strange rear brakes for me. ... which essentially rules out Champion wheels.
Shoaf85- any close-ups of your wheels with their beadlocks?

Here are a couple different pics. Attached pic at bottom is one before beadlock conversion.
