Sunny is on a mission this season.

Next points race at IRR isn't until the 28th of next month. Wife just laid down the law to me this morning. I'm ordered to go racing asap. Guess I have to make a visit or two to Lakeland.

Dial honest or .01 quicker, kill the tree, and run her out. Just like they all do at Atco.

I've only been there a handful of times because its over 3 1/2 hours away. I'm thinking of going there and staying over in the RV. Immokalee is under an hour and Lakeland is 2 1/2. Brandenton is a
1 1.2 hour drive

Thanks Kaz. I guess I'll go to Bradenton. I remember Rob telling me it's a well prepped track. I won't go back to Immokalee again. Was there twice and both times found it was dangerous and extremely squirrelly with street tires not even mentioning how dark the place was with cars all over the place. Sure miss how good Atco, E-Town and Maple Grove were up north.

Wow I've never had an issue at IRR. It is dark when you first turn off at the end of the track. I did some Fridays nights and points races. Granted I had drag radials, hoosier qtp, or slicks. Hook was never an issue.

I have a "free" tech card so I'll be heading to Lakeland on Saturday. I'm not hearing a lot of positive news from the guys at Lakeland. This may be my last time there.

I have recently heard the same, although I've also heard the opposite, yet, despite living just 4 miles from the strip, I haven't gone-down that piece of asphalt, but I'm getting closer every day

I got news that with the owner recently acquiring SGMP, 'good-things are happening at Lakeland', so we shall see...
