11.39 @127.51 C6/A6 stock gear/converter
C6 A6 Vette, stock 2.56 gear, stock converter, ported/milled 821 heads, ported intake and TB, 219/223 .625/.625 112+0 Lunati cam, K&N CAI, Kooks headers, catted mid-pipe with Corsa mufflers, Drag Pack. Full weight, 1/3 tank of gas. DA+888 12-18 mph headwind
11.39@127.51 1.87 60ft. Would have been nice to have a Vararam or a real CAI. IAT's were a little warm since it is basically just a big filter on top of the air-dam over the radiator cover that just sucks engine compartment heat. Excellent driving manners, idles at 625 with a little lope, and very good street car combination that I thought would be nice to share....

Good 'ol Fayetteville? That's a pretty good time! I ran 11.32@123 without the skinnies up front, stock heads, stock intake but cammed with full exhaust as well on my m6. That car definitely has a 10 in it. So keep going at it. I wish I would've tested some more before installing a supercharger, but launching a manual with the stock clutch is a PITA.
Question. Were spacers used with the GTO spares? If so, what size? Thx

I've been 10.80's with bolt-ons and stock converter in a GS so I know 10.78 is very possible. Still impressive! It's not like you see many guys running 10's with bolt-on N/A.

Yeah, the vettes love stall with bolt-ons but is gives up a lot on driving appeal. I love stalls but some want stock driving manners which gives a stall a hard sell. This guy could have definitely used a Vararam. It would have probably bump his MPH up and time down a little especially with the head-wind that day.
