Default Cut in drag radial

Anyone ever see anything like this? I went to the track Sunday and got home and the tire looked like this. Not sure what happened but it doesn't appear to have gone through to the belts. Is it something you would worry about?

On a good note I finally got my 60' times below 2 seconds and have some video I'd like critiqued but I'll post another thread about that

I'm using the mobile app so sorry if this formats oddly....

The drag radials are a lot softer than street tires and they tend to pick up everything and anything. It looks like you ran over a piece of metal in the pits or on the road. Doesn't look too deep. You can't see the belts so I wouldn't worry about it.

Thanks! Upon further inspection I can see the belts a bit. Not sure what to do, these are pretty new

If it's "pretty new" buy a new one.

Otherwise if it was fairly worn, I'd say buy 2 new tires so the roll out is the same.

Good point that's what I'll do. No sense in worrying about a blowout over $200.
