Default What's going on at Englishtown?

I'm seeing the preliminary 2015 schedule. No Saturdays, no Corvette Challenge and no modern muscle. Lady on the phone said I should run the open competition series on Sundays. What are you guys going to run? I just have a 14 second C5. I guess it's like the old days: SUNDAY, SUNDAY, SUNDAY!!!

Modern Muscle moved to Sunday. No more Saturdays. You can also run Street ET on Sunday and double your fun. This coming Sunday is the first open day.

Points classes are canceled tomorrow, 3/29/15 due to the weather.

There will be a Grocery-Getter race, plus a $40 test-n-tune (3 runs).

The 1/8 mile track will be closed.

Closed the following weekend for Easter. A lot of the track surface is being re-done during the Easter Break. Hopefully warm weather will finally arrive and stay here so in a few weeks we can actually get back to racing!

Thrashed on the car all day to get ready but it never stopped snowing. 9:00pm still snowing and 24 degrees up north. When is the next race? Schedule doesn't go beyond march

Mike, hope you're doing well

Doing ok Ralph, second surgery went well, still recovering. This bad weather buys me more time!

Track resurface project also starts this week since they are closed next weekend for Easter. See you all when Spring arrives and actually stays!

Ralph, I had the same trouble seeing the schedule. Could only get March. But if you click on where it says "drag racing" in blue letters just under the dragster, the whole schedule will appear. I guess the dates open to us are where Sunday is written in small letters not capitals. The capital letter Sundays seem to be reserved for special groups like the VW guys. However, the Aug,2 Sunday is for GM and Corvette so I guess that one's ours. I actually like running classes where you never know what will line up in the next lane. Reminds me of street racing in the old days.

Okay, thanks. Those are the same dates I was able to extract from the schedule except for the addition of Sunday, August 2 which they listed as GM and Corvette.

Ralph, hey man give me a call tomorrow so I can get a catchup and get the scoop on etown racing. I went off the depend this year with racing and instead of buying a 210mph corvette with a 708ci motor I bought an toy hauler, just got back from a 15hour round trip getting my enclosed trailer.....so needless to say I'm ready to head out your way this year to do some jersey air racing....
