Default cost to race

Just trying to get an idea what the gate/tech card fees are at different tracks around the country.

This is for just a fun night or TnT with no real organized racing being done.

Our local track has raised the price from $30 to race and $10 for spectators up to $40 and $15.

Other than the warm weather we have early this year (95 today's high), I for one won't go again until around November, but I'm partly doing it in protest of the price hike.

I believe Englishtown is still $30.00 for regular test and tune, $40.00 on Sundays.
Atco is $15.00 for test and tune during the regular season and $25.00 at the very beginning and very end of the season (Saturday/Sunday). I think.

The cheapest part of drag racing is always the gate fee.... Goes up considerably from there,,,,

I've been running at Evadale Raceway in Evadale Texas for almost 10 years and the prices for test and tune and spectator hasn't changed in the period of time. $20/$10. Doesn't matter if they have a booked in show or not the prices stay the same.

At Lucas raceway park in Indianapolis ( where they run the US Nationals) they have a test and tune on wensday. Cost 5 bucks to watch and 20 bucks to run. Lots of fun . Last wens, over 100 cars showed up. I didn't outrun anyone but only got in 4 runs. GTO, 2 mustangs and a chevy pick up on the juice that ran a 12.08.

Palm Beach Int'l is $20/10 race/watch on Wed and Fri nights. And, unfortunately, usually only a few cars out there. Except on cool winter nights.

for their weekly Thursday night test-n-tune / grudge night, Bradenton Motorsports Park charges $14 to get in the gate, and another $6 for a Tech Card, to run your car

Bradenton also has a few Saturday evening 'Street Heat' on weeks when they don't have a points race, and (according to their website) it is $14 to watch OR run a vehicle

on Saturday mornings before points races, the tracks is open for testing between 9AM - 2PM (when the old Corvette Challenges were held), with $14 to enter the track, and a Tech Card for this session costing an additional $10

Sacramento Raceway Park Wednesday Street Legal Drags cost $7 for spectators and $15 for racers.

There's a bracket race or you can make fun runs all night.

Been to Sac for a TnT. Bit of a drive from Phoenix, but good air is hard to find.

Found Bristol Dragway (TN) street drags at $10 to race & $5 to watch.
Mega buck facility, yet cheap to race.

$25-40 to run at TnT at most tracks I've been to.
Private rentals are usually in the $100-150 / area, but totally worth it.
