Default Newbie needing help with 1/8 mile times

I've been a long F body fan but decided I wanted a vette, so far I'm very pleased. I purchased a 2008 3LT Z51 with black Z06 cup wheels/bfg comp ta II tires, SLP loudmouth and Superbee CAI. It ran 8.28@92.7mph in +2400 da with a 2.14 60ft, my question is what could I expect with 305-35×19 MT drag radials with the same da or maybe slightly better (around +1200 da if it cools off)? Seems like with that mph I should be able to drop a half second with a 1.8 60ft? Any help is appreciated, thanks in advance.

Your MPH is an indication of how much power you are making...your ET is an indication of how well you apply that power to the ground...drag radials should help you apply your power to the ground more effectively...

If you lower your 60' time to 1.8 you should be in the 7.6-7 range in the 1/8th...your mph will not change much at all...to give you an idea how important the short time is, when I was trapping 93 mph I was running 7.15 in the 1/8th...why?...because my 60' times were 1.53 to 1.54...

Is that mph on par for a basically stock Ls3, or does it seem a little fast. I know what you mean about short time, my 2000 SS ran 7.21@91 but with a 1.49 60ft. What seems to be about the best 60ft you can get on a C6 differential on drag radials without breaking alot of stuff?
