Default et street r or hoosier dr

Well I bought 17x 10 welds, and when I went to purchase 26x11.5x17 et streets (bias ply), it said they are now discontinued....so the next best thing, what is better for a manual car?

With an aftermarket performance clutch I'd look for another bias ply tire.
If you had no choice but a radial, I'd go with a Hoosier.
With the stock clutch you can get away with a drag radial much moreso.

This guy made the rxt work but I'm convinced this clutch slips more than most people think on the launch which is a good thing.

Hoosiers work great. All my friends with stick vettes run them as did I in my auto. Did a best 60 of 1.42. Going to try out the new et street R's now.

At your power level, you could handle a 28" tall slick such as a Hoosier 28.0/10.0-17. Note: This tire has an aggressive compound and may need to be aired up more than usual.
Otherwise take Rob's advice on the Hoosier DR.

Maybe not. I have been calling around for a buddy and I found one so far. Looking for a second. Chances are the rollout will be a little different.

I say lets find you some slicks.
How about getting a 16" rim on there and running a 26x11.5x16 bias ply MT etstreet. Let us know when you go to atco and we'll try and meet up and help.

See if you can get 26x11.5x16 et streets and skinnies. I'm sure you know that you'll have to hammer or grind on rear upper ball joints.

$200/ person--unlimited passes ~9-4:30
I may bring my car and coach my friend who wants to take some passes in it.
