A little hard to analyze the time slips due to limited data supplied. I guess you were running out to the 1000' marker? The incremental data such as 60' ET, 330' ET, 1/8 mile ET and MPH would be helpful and normally used to analyze the pass.
Maybe I'm missing something?

Okay. Let's forget the time slips then, for lack of data. Moving forward: What mode is best to run at the strip.
And can you all comment on the burn out procedure. What mode are you using.

Safety Car
No real usable information on those time slips you provided.
If I were in your situation I would:
Obtain a set of drag radials or contact CCW or Bogart and place an order for a drag pack to fit the car. They might be able to help with the fitting of rims.
Go to C-5 performance section and make a post, there are quite a few drag racers that hang out in that section.
Since you are most likely foot braking it, try coming out a little softer and roll the throttle on rather than stabbing the gas.
My situation was much different, I used bias ply tires and my drive line was built to take the power so sometimes I would come out as high as 5k rpm. Drag Radials will definitely help you out though.

Melting Slicks
I wouldn't dare running down the strip in street tires. Almost met the wall in the past. DR's are the way to go MT Drag radials or Hoosiers DR's will get you there. 10.7 ET & only 106mph, sheesh you must have had a handful keeping it straight. Also get yourself a line lock installed its a great help in reducing strain on parts & will let you smoke em up to get a good launch. RT comes with seat time.

Doing your burn out without a line lock with an auto is a little tricky. With a stick shift such as I had and no line line lock for a while, the procedure was to get the rear tires wet then roll up little, bring the rpms up to about 3000 or so and pop the clutch which would start to spin the rear tires and while thats going on you just touch the brake peddle with your left foot enough to keep the car from creeping forward. It takes practice, its easier with a line lock to be sure. Keep in mind the braking system is designed to apply the front brakes first so if you don't jab them on you should be able to get some spin. I never tried it with an auto so I would imagine thats going to take a bit of practice and technique. Just a thought though you may want to buy into a track rental day at the strip if they have them? You could get quite a bit of practice that way. The more seat time you get the generally the better you get.

Doing a tire warm up/burn out is way easier w/an auto than a stick. It's just like from the Van Halen song; one foot on brake, one on the gas. Easy.
