Default --RELEASE-- LG Motorsports C7 15" Drag Conversion kit

Hey guys and girls,

It has been a long time coming on this project but we are now ready for final release on the LG Motorsports 15" wheel drag conversion kit for the C7 Corvette!

Unlike the C5 and C6 Corvette's, the C7 presented its own challenges in doing this conversion. This kit is more than just a spindle change like what was found on the prior generations of Corvette. The C7 required a new one piece custom rotor and re-designed lower control arm to allow the smaller diameter wheel and tire package. LG Motorsports has designed and engineered this COMPLETE KIT to allow a full bolt on conversion ready for any number of 15" wheels on the market today.

Prototype kits tested by Vengeance Racing have already propelled the car deep in the 10 second range. With C7Z06's now putting down over 1000rwhp, the traction of a 15" wheel and tire package is going to be a much needed item in dropping E.T.'s at the track!

Kit Includes:
  • [*]
  • [*]
  • [*]
  • [*]
  • [*]
  • [*]
  • [*]
  • [*]
  • [*]
  • [*]
  • [*]

MSRP $4949.95

Currently all pieces are being assembled here at LG by hand, with an expected completion of 2-3 kits per week. There is a list of sold orders now, so call your sales person TODAY and get yours reserved NOW!

FIRST KITS ARE BEING SHIPPED THIS WEEK!!!!!!!

Very cool. I figured it was only a matter of time before you guys brought something like this to market.

Will the new lower control arm allow for an inner beadlock wheel?

Yes you should have tons of room for a dual bead lock wheel.

First batch of kits are already spoken for with most shipped at this point. Next batch should be ready to go middle of next week. They are going quicker than we can build them.

So, I was thinking...
How about making some lower control arms for a C5/C6 that allow for an inner bead lock?

Have you talked to Mark Carlyle?

I guess I need to ask him again if he is running locks on the inside of his car or not. I thought he was with the Billet Specialty wheels but he is using stock control arms on his C6Z and our spindles.

I haven't spoken to him lately, but, I'm pretty confident he's running an inner bead lock wheel. I'd like to know what back spacing his wheels are if he's usong a stock lca.

I have your spindles. I haven't tried to fit a bead lock wheel on my car. I guess I should at least try it to see.

I know when he and I last talked he has a stock lower control arm just with spherical bearings installed. I don't think he even trimmed the lower arm. I believe he might be running a new style Weld on the car now, but he had Billet Specialty Wheels with the F body inner barrel which did allow more room between the wheel and lower arm over the Weld RTS style.

They are at an event right now but I bet if you emailed him you would get something early next week.

For those that have been asking about what comes in the kit.

Calipers come loaded with pads ready to go on. Ball joints are installed in the arms and spindles both.

Kits are supplied with two lowering bolts as well for those using shorter tires.

Kit shown is ready to ship!

The next batch of kits are being assembled as we speak now. We hope to have all back orders together and shipping in the coming days. If you are wanting to get a kit for the 2017 season, I would get an order in soon so we can make sure to have parts on hand!!

For those that currently have an order in with us directly or through a dealer we are working to try and deliver as many kits as we can prior to Christmas!

We should be completing all back ordered kits and shipping by Friday. If you are interested in a package for the 2017 season, get your order in now because we only have a limited number of parts left from this run to make more kits and it will be a few weeks before more arrive.
