Hey guys I'm sorry if this topic has been beat to death. I'm currently running 295/35/18 nitto nt05 on my car right now with 275/40/17 up front. I was wondering if I would see much improvement in traction if I went to a 305/40/18 in the rear? I'm also not trying to have a 4x4 look either on my car. I have stock factory suspension on my '03 50th anniversary with a built 6-speed trans. I need new rear tires for this season anyways and was wondering what you all thought and if any of you had pics of a C5 or C6 with similar suspension setup but with a 305/40/18 rear tire and what you think about that setup as far as drag racing and traction goes?

Currently I have 475whp from heads/cam setup.

Stock gear? 29" tall tire seems a bit tall for a head cam car, JMO. I ran the 315/40/18 on the twin turbo car which were a tad over 28" as I remember.
