Default No Lift Shifting

So I figured out how to set up HP Tuners to cut spark when I shift to allow easier no lift shifting. Now, my question is where do I set the rev limiter during the shift? I shift at 7,000 and the normal rev limiter is set at 7500. Now, shifting at 7,000 brings the RPMs down to about 5,000 RPM after the shift.

Now, my question is where do I set the RPM cut / RPM resume during the shift?

What is the background into cutting spark during a shift? This vid is with my old SS that had the LS1 and T-56 combo with a B&M Ripper Shifter. The RPM's climed maybe 200 RPM. Not much. The audio/video is a bit out of sync, but you can hear the RPM's climb during the shifts.
