Default Shift sector 1/2: Nitto? MT?

Looking for tire suggestions to run the 1/2 mile Shift Sector coming up. I'm close to 550rw and with R6's (yes I know meant for corners not straight) and the PS2's I struggled with traction. Want to get more bite, on stock Z06 wheels. I've heard mixed reviews on the NT-05, and that the MT DR doesn't have stability at higher mph.

Considering this event is done on an airstrip with no prep, surrounded by fine dirt, and has a regular crosswind making the runway slippery, choosing a tire that will bite good but have stability on the top end is really important. Don't want issues at 150+

M/T's are awesome, I'm running the 325/30/19 S/S at the moment.

My 315/35/17 hoosier DR2's did fine up to 163.6 mph at the last Shift Sector in Oregon. They were a bit short and caused me to hit the limiter in 4th at the end of each run, but I had no handling issues even running 22psi.

I had Toyo R888's and had no issues with 640rwhp and 164mph pass. I couldn't dead hook 1st gear, but once it was rolling it did great and it had 100% grip in 2nd on. I wouldn't worry about wind and such at speed, you'll be fine. I've hit massive bumps during hard accel/decel, at speed, in wind, etc. nothing has come close to upsetting the car enough to matter. You can hear my car breaking traction for a split second many times in this video on the big bumps in the crappy unclean surface. In the Chicago events, there was a huge bump in the right lane where you hard on it. In the left lane, there was a huge dip I kept hitting when braking hard at 140+. In that video, you can see the wheel jerk and the car moves to the left a foot or so

Run decent tires, and you don't have much to worry about really, IMO.

What car do you have? Stock Z06 wheels with 550whp could be 6 or 7.

Toyo R888s are good as are the Nitto NT05R, both kinda howl when you drive. I've used both....Sometimes it depends on availability.
I just noticed how much those MTs look like NT05s. If you have a 20 inch wheel in the back you'll have to get some 19s and slap some 345s on em.
