John Stewart was a very knowledgable guy, a gearhead's gearhead.
I'd call him asking about jet sizes or whatever and we'd end up talking for an hour trading war stories...

This is a very sad day...

Wow, I am really sorry to hear that. I only met him once, and believe me, he made a lasting impression. My heart goes out to his family.

This is awfull. What a nice guy he was. I could call him and ask him anything, and then he would spend an hour talking to you.
He was suppose to be recovering too.
Thoughts go out to the family.

:( This is very sad news. I've had the pleasure of speaking with John on a few occasions and always enjoyed it greatly. John was an early supporter of what we've done here with Corvetteforum. Guys like him helped to make this whole thing possible.

My condolences to his family. :(
