Default HP Estimate

I have a 454 +.030, 9 1/2 compression, large oval port heads, Thumper 479 Comp Cam, Air Gap Dual plane manifold, 750 Double pumper and 3/4 length ceramic headman headers. 12 bolt with Eaton 3:42 gears. Can someone tell me about how much HP I can expect? Art Carr 4 speed auto as well.

Thanks in advance,

Frank

I'd recommend downloading and using the Virtual Engine 2000 software. It's free and will give you a pretty good estimate of what HP you'll be making. It's not as sophisticated as the pricier program that can cost up to $1,000+ but require more info such as cylinder air flow even tenth of an inch of lift as well as valve lift velocity. Let us know how it turns out!

My guess is 480/500. Sounds like a great build. If you dyno it, please post the results.
