Default ZZ4 Engine Specs

I have a ZZ4 engine that I am working on. I have a question regarding the threads on the block where the oil gauge screws into the block. I have attempted to use 1/8 pipe, and it does not tighten up into the threads. It bottoms out and then I have a leak at this point. I understand that these blocks are manufactured in Mexico and at some point GM has all the engine done in metric. Anyone know?

Thanks

I don't know the answer to your question. If you don't receive one on this forum, try calling or e-mailing Scoggin Dickey Parts Center. I don't live anywhere near Texas, but these guys have always been helpful in the past so I always try to order SBC and LS parts from them when I could.
