Default Can a LQ9 6.0 liter ironblock be safely bored to .060 naturaly aspirated application.

A very reputable racing enjine builder told me he coule overbore the LQ9 6.0 liter ironblock (for LS1 superstoker) to .060 overbore and matched with Lunati superstroker crank (4.125 stroke wtih 2.1 journal size, std/std, radiused and deburred oil passages) and get 427 cubes and have enjine be 100% safe and bulletproof regarding the .060 overbore.

This enjine will be for big power NATURAL ASPIRATED Only and will never see N20 or forced induction.

Do you guys agree with the above and if not, what is the bigest it can be overbored and be 100% reliable and what cubes would be yielded with the aforementioned lunati 4.125 crank?

Thanks,

Nitrovette
