what is the crankshaft to camshaft height on a standard big block? I tried searching the internet but can't find it, thanks

Check with the aftermarket block companies like Dart, Brodix, etc. In the case where they list raised cam blocks I imagine they will list more technical specs that could help you with this dimension.

I would expect that a competent engine machine shop would have this dimension.
