Drove a 2010 Camaro SS today!!
A friend and fellow forum member who is an exec at the GM Oshawa plant was kind enough to bring a new Camaro SS to my house this morning so I could check it out; I also had the chance to drive it for an extended period of time!! It was a 6 spd fully loaded SS. Great car, loved it!! The look on people's faces when they saw it driving around was priceless!! They go on sale March 15th.
These pics are later this morning at the Powell Race Shop in Port Perry where corvette race driver and LG Motorsports owner Lou Gigliotti was visiting for business...I think he likes the Camaro!

Nice Pics, you beat me to posting in this section.
I was lucky enough to get a quick test drive, as well.

I don't post messages very often, but I have a major complaint that I'm hoping that someone with enough brains from GM might read this message and correct the problem. I like the new Camaro and really wanted to see one and sit in one so this past weekend my son and I went to the new car show in downtown Pittsburgh and low and behold there are two Camaros a V6 car and a SS. The problem was I couldn't get within 8 feet of them. I could walk right up to a ZR-1 but not a Camaro. Chevrolet has been teasing us with this car for say 6yrs. And now there due to be released on March 17 and I still couldn't get within 8feet. I have defended the American car company's even when I thought some of there business decisions were questionable. But this just pi$$e$ me off. In 2002 My wife and I bought a new Monte Carlo SS and love the car and was think of buying a new Camaro this year or next, but now I don't think so. That Mustang looking better all the time. I glad you were able to drive one,but I'll stick with my 67 CamaroSS. Chevrolet what the he!! are you thinking!

I have been a long time Camaro owner and fan and I sure hope it looks better in person. About the only thing I like about it is the center console that reminds of my '69. Other than that...Where do I start

I was in the car business for 25 years and got out in 2001. I attended so many auto shows I can't remember them all. What I always remember is any vehicle we let people sit in was pretty much trashed. I saw all ***** stolen, turn signals broken off, seats crushed, visors ripped off, and much more.
I am not suggesting this is the answer why, but it might be.
Great pictures! I can't wait to see on in person myself. How is the head room? I am 6'4" and fit my F body.

I'll stick with my 4th Gen... It's paid for and will run circles around the 5th Gens... just my opinion.. I'd much rather purchase a C5 z05..

That does warrant a compliant. Crazy things that GM does. I do my best to support AMERICAN Auto Manufactures too, but things like this make it hard to argue points with others.
BY THE WAY...great post and pics. Did you get a good shot from the front? The car looks hot, the tires (rear) look like they could be a bit wider, but it will be nice to FINALLY see this car on the highways.
