Nice looking car, but IIRC, G70-14s were not factory equipment on '69 Camaros.

Obviously, you haven't been watching the price of classic cars other than Corvettes going through the roof. You can't buy a restored 69 Camaro in that condition today, especially a BB convertible for less than 50K unless you're damn lucky. The tire size isn't that far off OE...not a big deal. I simply offered the OP a look see at something on FleeBay...his choice to look or not!

What I meant, was there was no way that $40K was going to buy that car...I'm well aware of classic car prices. I'd imagine that Camaro will go for $75K, or more.

Unfortunately you are going to be hard pressed to find the car, and when you do it will probably have hidden things that will need attention no matter how nice it looks. Maybe the better thing would be to not be hung up on matching numbers, find a good car, and build it exactly the way you want it. I always keep them looking completely factory, but do internal things that don't show, like hydraulic roller cams, and stroker kits for the engines. I also add every possible option that it could have had from the factory like hidden headlights, bumper guards, wheel opening trim, front, and rear spoilers, ect. Also have 2 sets of wheels so you can bolt on the good ones after the show, and actually drive the car and enjoy it.

3 years later I am still searching for this car.

I have now broadened the search to ANY 69, RS/SS or SS, coupe or convertible.

I am dead set on 396, 4 speed and factory AC.

You could have anything you want built if it doesn't have to be matching ####
Would have been done already too.

Maybe the better thing would be to not be hung up on matching numbers, find a good car, and build it exactly the way you want it.

So few of those cars are untouched if any
IMO youll enjoy a non #s car more if you crack it up so what you got ins do it over again. Guess that goes with an original too but still

Those cars are too easy to fake like Vettes id be afriad to pay #s money. These cars are so hard to find at the end of the day if it says Camaro on it think thats all that matters.

Hope you find what youre looking for.
