I got to run against 2 new Z/28's last June at Thunderhill Raceway. For a big car they ran pretty good.

......... but you do get an awful lot for the money.......... the real problem is found in the question of why would you want or need it?

If you aren't headed to a road track on a very regular basis to compete it would seem like too much money and probably too much "extra" to justify in the price tag on a Camaro.

This is a car that really only makes sense for the person who loves the name plate and is in a place financially where dropping the extra $20,000 over what it's probably REALLY worth in today's car market.......is just pocket change and not much of a concern vs their desire to own it.

Anyone see the latest C&D Lightning Lap 8 issue yet?
It matched the 918 in Lat G's (1.16), in the up hill esses it topped the 918's average and exit speed, topped the the hill @118.5 mph fastest every (in LL).

Was a tenth of a second slower than F12 Berlinetta
1 second slower than the Viper TA
1.5 sec slower that GT-R NISMO
7 sec slower than the 918.
Only 4 cars were faster this year, by a total time of 10.4 Second. Those 4 cost ~1.4 Million.
