Default Please Help diagnose 2002 Camaro SS Cruise Control Failure

After Cruise Control stopped working recently, I find that the switches in the brake and the clutch pedals, and the directional signal wand are all working. Where are the next places to look and troubleshoot ???
Please Help ASAP, as I am preparing for a long road trip soon.
Thanks.

Hook up a scanner and check for codes? There's a dozen or so Pxxxx codes that could help clue into the cause.

Does your car have ASR? Fuse for Cruise Control is good?
