the weather got a little bit better around here so I got 3 passes in .

12.28, 12.27 and 12.26 IMO not bad for a Header, intake, exhaust , 4.10s in a stock rear 6MT car, no short throw, no 2 step, no shift light.

I am hoping to get in some late oct runs where I can break 12 it seems the car has more left in it

thanks !

last night was at the track... only put down a 12.35 was dealing with clutch heat issue as a result of a delay on the track

best time so far was 12.207 on my boys 27"

was back on my 26" last night but was experimenting with the 2-step and shift light. I have the 2-step at 5k put down a 1.74 60' ft.

probably need to leave higher like 5200-5400 thats what i left at on that 12.2 run.

I need short throw shifter still.

Took advantage of the nice weather today yesterday and swapped my SLP LM1 for a magnaflow catback sounds much better now , no drone, etc; Also put my swaybar back on the new rear.

Everything is wired up for the line lock except the actual solenoid and lines.
ready to hit e-town when it opens march 6th.

Update:

First trip to the strip this spring I had clutch issues... Hydrolic related most likely possibly bad pressure plate was getting locked out of every gear at high RPM.

did a spec stage 3 6 puck clutch , steel flywheel, spec slave cylinder with speed bleeder, (the master was already new)

also put in QA1 single adustable rear drag shocks, and a BMR adjustable torque arm (was a bitch with the 9" rear)

Got about 250 on the clutch now for break-in and I am really happy with it so far.

So the cam is going in in about 2 weeks. 242/248 - .608/.612 - 110 LSA spec
usual hardened pushrods, valve springs, C5R timing chain, etc etc;
255 Walbro FP, 42 LB DW injectors, ASP pulley kit.

this winter I want to get a nice wheel setup. Spring I want to get the paint all touched up (provided I haven't bought other **** which requires the garage) and the car will be a done deal.

Sweet rides--- and congratulations to the OP!

One of the best modifications I ever did for my '98 LS1 was adding a pair of BMR tubular sub-frame connectors that were welded on. It also had an aftermarket shock tower brace.

The difference in handling was amazing. Took turns as if the car were on rails. The suspension and tires/wheels were stock.
