Nice car!

What SLP content does it have (check the service label on the passenger door).

Mine was a 2000 SS, bright red 6 speed, with no SLP add-ons. It was my first new car, and I factory ordered it. The salesmen never mentioned the SLP stuff and I doubt I could have afforded more anyway. I had to sell the car after I was laid off, and the kid promptly wrecked it.

completely forgot to take a look at that ! I will. Also have the original bill of sale from the previous owner. For whatever reason he didn't save the window sticker

^ thank you !

so just an update on this. I ran it at the track weds night. bone stock, street tires, bad catalytic converter. Ran 4 passes. 13.2 @ 106.7 with a 2.06 60'

a bolt-on tuned auto was only running 13.15 next to me. so I have faith that this car is gonna be nasty.

I have boxes all over my house right now hoping to start the work next week.

-TSP 1-7/8th LT headers
-TSP catless y-pipe
-SLP LM1 exhaust
-SLP 160 thermo
-SLP air lid
-SLP smooth bellow
-SSRA ram air
-prothane Poly motor and trans mount
-MSD wires
-TR55 plugs
-4.10 gears

then getting a dyno tune at a friend of mines race/performance shop

I did some non performance stuff too :

-kenwood double din
-kee audio level 2 speaker pack (check out there site for F-bodys there awesome)
-6k HID low beam
-3k HID fogs
-full detail (car had tons of overspray)
-20% tint all around
-new driver side seat belt retractor (it wouldnt retract right)
-Hurst white shifter ball (going to do MGW short throw too)
-replace crappy factory PS cooler with an aftermarket

I am doing all the mods that make sense or require a tune at once (e.g. headers and plugs at same time due to convenience)

next after that is strano parts suspension package with the 1.2 inch drop

debating what the best step is track tire wise. I would like to run a 15" but they are tons of money for a rim that clears without grinding. I can run a 16" firebird or camaro rim with a slick or DR or a 17 with DR or do the zr1 reps in chrome 17x9 5 front and 17x11 rear with a 315/35/17 DR and run those full time or just swap to a 16 or 17 track dedicated

That's a excellent time. Get you a set of 16 factory wheels and get some drag radials. I am running 11.0 on stock 10 bolt and 16 inch factory wheels pulling 1.5 60ft

It has a 6.0 swap I run 245/50/16 nitto 555r they are narrow but they get the job done. I think 255 is the widest.
