Cool story! My father bought a Camaro in the spring of 1967, and I took my driver's test in it, the following year....

Very Cool. I'm a big 1st gen Camaro fan...
I thought that the original name was 'Panther' and that the pilot cars had that name on them.. .

I'm pretty sure it was called 'Panther' and it was changed because they thought that girls would not buy it...so it was changed...I have pix of the test cars with 'Panther' on the fender...
