I made this exact trade about 11 years ago. Thought I was getting bored with Corvettes and really likes the WS6's. So I found a great deal on an '02 red WS6 and traded my '02 Z06. If I remember right, the dealer also gave me $16,000. I had the WS6 3 months and traded it on my first Viper. After the Viper, I bought a new '04 Z06. I missed EVERYTHING about my Z06 compared to the WS6...everything.

I actually did the opposite... I traded a build 00 Z28 for my current 01 C5Z ( which was bone stock then) + $7k cash.... had about 82k mi then.... I love fbods.... I have owned every generation except a 5th gen.... currently own a 99 SS vert... I think i'll always own an fbod regardless. GL w your search.
