C5 Door Replacement - How to transfer VIN sticker?
My uncle has a '99 C5 that needs the drivers door replaced (guy at work backed into it) and the repairing dealer has told him they can't transfer the VIN sticker to the new door. How do you get a new sticker to make the car legal and correct? The dealer wants to give him the sticker on a cutout chunk of the old door! Somehow this doesn't seem right. Any ideas?
