Buy a Hemmings Motor News, under "services" there is a myriad of places that restore clocks and instruments, grab your phone and start calling and you might get lucky!!!
Or watch ebay and buy every clock for the next year that pops up and maybe you can get a good shaft without bitching things up...........good luck

http://www.corvetteclocks.com/
I've also seen the stems listed with some of the Corvette aftermarket providers.

You'll need more than a stem. If the stem came off, something is sheared in the works, and the clock needs to come out for repair/rebuild. The Clock Works (www.clockwks.com) does excellent work with quick turnaround.

One of the gauge restorers may be able to fix it (but be prepared to be without it for a month). Try any of the following.

1)Clocks by Roger in Tenn
2)Corvette Gauge Service, Palm Beach (?) Fla
3)Corvette Speciaties of MD

I know Roger and Corvette Speciaties will be at Carlisle and maybe Corvette Gauge, if you can wait.

Complete repro clocks are available in either mechanical or quartz movment. These run about $150,00. You can by a quartz movement to convert your clock yourself for about $60.00-70.00, but I don't remember if they reuse the old stem or not. This may be a more cost effective way to go.

Just curious, was that originally a no radio car, or did you convert. I like it either way!

Same thing on my '68. Clock was otherwise fine. I replaced the stem.
