Default Correct Starter for 67 BB

This almost too simple, but I can't seem to find a good answer...Should the starter on my 67 427/435 be a two hole or three hole mount. It currently has a reman from NAPA on it that's a 2 hole nose, but I can see a third hole in the block in the starter mount area. I am looking at some "correct" 11007365 staters on Ebay that have both 2 and 3 hole noses. Does the nose have it's own number and date code? If so, what would be correct for my car?

A correct 1107365 starter should have a cast iron nose, with two bolts that are oriented diagonally from each other. The third hole in the starter pad on the block is for a different starter (L-88) that uses the small flywheel and has two bolts directly across from each other. There is no "third" starter bolt used on any application - they only use two bolts.

Thanks JohnZ, What has me confused is I see several 365 starters on Ebay that have 3 hole noses and some have 2 hole noses. Some of the 3 hole even claim to be 427/435 originals. I would post an image, but that process still eludes me.

The starter on my 1967 427/435 has gone bad.
It is the original starter.
Are there any date codes or numbers on it that link it to my car?
